What Affects a Night Nanny's Pay
Caregiver pay is set between your family and the professional, and it depends on experience, certifications, overnight versus daytime hours, number of babies (twins need more support), how many nights per week, and any household duties. We discuss realistic compensation with you on the intake call, so you know what to budget before candidates are presented. Our agency fee is separate and flat: $1,500, $2,500 or $3,500 depending on the guarantee you choose.
Families in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Highland Beach, Deerfield Beach, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Wellington and Jupiter tell us that schedule length matters most: five nights a week for three months is planned very differently from two nights a week for a few weeks.
Our Flat Agency Fees
We offer three placement packages: Basic/Advise at $1,500 with a 90-day replacement guarantee, Standard at $2,500 with a 6-month replacement guarantee, and Premium at $3,500 with a 12-month replacement guarantee. A $500 retainer activates your search and is deducted from your package price, plus applicable taxes. The remaining balance is due before in-person meetings, trials or hire. All agency fees are non-refundable.
| Package | Agency fee | Replacement guarantee |
|---|---|---|
| Basic/Advise | $1,500 | 90 days |
| Standard | $2,500 | 6 months |
| Premium | $3,500 | 12 months |
What's Included
Every night nanny we present is CPR-certified, has at least three years of experience with U.S. families, has been reference-checked with former employers and has passed a nationwide background screening. We interview each one ourselves, present featured profiles, set up Zoom meetings and support you through paid trials.
Night Nanny vs Baby Nurse vs Postpartum Doula
These roles overlap, but each has a different focus. If your priority is sleep, a night nanny fits. If you want newborn expertise around feeding and routines, choose a newborn care specialist. If you also need support for the mother's recovery, choose a postpartum doula.
| Role | Main focus | Typical timing |
|---|---|---|
| Night nanny | Overnight baby care so parents sleep | Newborn months, overnight shifts |
| Newborn care specialist (baby nurse) | Feeding, sleep routines, newborn expertise | First weeks to first months |
| Postpartum doula | Mother's recovery, feeding support, household and sibling help | Fourth trimester (first 12 weeks) |
| Baby nanny | Daily routines and early milestones | Infancy through toddler years |
How to Hire
Our process is simple: pay the retainer to activate your search, review featured candidate profiles, meet selected candidates over Zoom, pay the remaining balance, then hold paid trials. Paid trials are authorized only after the remaining balance is paid in full; trial compensation is paid directly to the candidate.
Families who need a night nanny right away often pay the full package upfront; the agency then presents candidates available to start immediately.
